Tool #5 Producing with Web 2.0 Tools

I think my classes could benefit from Word Cloud Generations, such Wordle.  Also under Word Cloud is ABCya! which could be a fun activity that even students could create. This could be used to introduce the new terms when beginning a new chapter.  This might get their attention.  AND maybe they could create one on their own for extra credit.

Tool #4 Moving up to the Clouds

I created a document to share with my team.  It is based on right triangle trig.  I will find this tool useful in the future.

I created a survey for my team, but this survey might be more useful with students at the end of the course.

Tool # 3 Finding On-Line Videos

Here's a cute video explaining the algebra involved in working with geometry formulas.

This video is okay, sorry.

My videos are above.

I already created a dropbox on Jan. 3rd inservicee and shared a lesson.

The copyright laws are to be adhered to for sure.

Tool #2 Building an Online Network

This is fine for someone who has time on their hands (no papers to grade, tests to create, etc.). Frankly something comes to mind that my mother used to say to me growing up which was "What makes you think that you are so important that everyone will be looking at you?" But substitute "reading public thoughts" for "looking at you." I plan to visit YouTube because it has helpful videos.

Tool #1 Experience

No, the experience of setting up the blog was NOT easy.  It was very frustrating to waste my time trying to get a verification code that would be valid...and it was also very time consuming trying different URL addresses to be accepted.  On a scale of 1-10 with ten being a great experience I would give this a 1.
